VA Disability Claim and Appeal Support
“soldiers”- Photograph by M. Villafrade | 2013
Support and documentation for VA disability claims and appeals, from a clinician who spent 10 years as an Army Behavioral Health Officer conducting command-directed and fitness-for-duty evaluations.
Process begins with a 45 to 60 minute consultation to discuss VA claim or appeal evaluation support. This is not a free consultation. There is a non-refundable $50 retainer fee per consultation that can be used towards final price of service. If you are unsure whether this service would be of benefit to you, feel free to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to discuss it with me first.
Scope note: This is thorough evaluation, and subsequent support for additional claims and appeals documentation. This is not a substitute for, and does not include, initial C&P exams.
Pricing
Four tiers, depending on scope. Pricing varies dependent on case complexity.
Tier 1
Initial Documentation Review
$200-250
Review of existing records and a brief written opinion. Clinical letter, single condition, treatment summary. Mainly for established clients, but will take on new clients on a case by case basis.
Tier 2
Nexus Letter, Standard
$450 - 550
A single-condition nexus letter with supporting rationale. Structured evaluation, single condition, no major records review (ideal for non-established clients with organized records on hand).
Tier 3
Nexus Letter, Complex
$850 - 1,000
Full evaluation and records review. One nexus-quality letter. Multi-condition or secondary-condition claims requiring deeper record review.
Tier 4
Appeal Support Specific
$1,200 - 1,600
For claims already denied. Review of the rating decision or C&P exam, and an updated letter addressing VA's specific stated rationale, to support a Higher-Level Review or Board Appeal. Medical documentation only — not legal representation before the Board.
